Job Description You will be expected to drive strategies for your category, leading to improved supplier performance and more commercial agreements. Although you will have no direct reports, you will lead negotiations with suppliers and influence internal business unit managers at the C-suite level.You will be responsible for the start to end management of your category and therefore manage the mix of attention to detail of contracts along with controlling relationships. The Successful Applicant You will be expected to have at least 5 years strategic category management experience ideally with an industrial background. You will need to have demonstrated experience in making innovative, strategic decisions whilst managing conflicting ideas both internally and externally.
