Our client is a shipping agent who represents two large European Shipping Companies. This position is to build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships that result in substantial bookings for heavy cargo. Your duties: - Ability to identifynew business relationships by researching industry
- Business Development through direct communication in telephone calls and emails
- Responsibility for your own lead generation and appointment setting.
- Responding to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner.
- Able to closenew business deals; developing and negotiating contracts;
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
- Enhances organisation reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Managing and maintaining sales reports.
- You will have responsibility for new business in your region reporting to the Managing Director
You will have high professionalism and appearance, energy and motivation for sales, sales planning, territory management to work in this company as their BDE.
