Currently an opportunity exists for an experienced Demand Planner to oversee a portfolio in excess of 250 SKU's. Reporting directly to the Planning Manager and building collaborative forecasting relationships with the company's major wholesalers, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborating with Business Unit Managers/Marketing Managers and Brand Managers to generate a rolling 24 month Ex-Factory Sales forecast for each SKU. - Provide forecasting input into the strategic planning process. - Developing, implementing and maintaining Demand Forecasting systems, including monthly updating and master data maintenance. - Development and management of relevant reporting tools to facilitate the forecasting process. - Reporting on Forecast Bias and Forecast accuracy performance to both the Commercial Business Units and Manufacturing division. - Working with Manufacturing and Supply Chain Planning to set appropriate target stock levels. - Timely communication of forecasts to Supply Planning. - Represent Demand Planning in S&OP.
The ideal candidate will possess senior demand planning expertise in combination with a track record of delivery in a highly regulated and KPI focussed environment. Keys experience:
- Demand Forecasting - Data analysis and modelling - Development and implementation of reporting tools using databases and spreadsheets - Well known ERP Systems experience - including use of Advanced Planning Tools.
