Reporting directly to the Demand & Supply Planning Manager, you will need expertise in S&OP and statistical forecasting, combined with rigorous analysis in an end to end supply chain environment. Responsible for establishing collaborative planning activities with the client and ensuring optimal inventory in meeting demand requirements in a cost effective manner, this position offers opportunities to impact and improve current methodologies and forecast parameters.
Key selection criteria for this role will be:
* High level understanding of statistical forecasting and algorithms - an ability to understand data and extrapolate assumptions. * Interrogation of the demand figure using a combination of historical data, collaborative planning and best practice trend and market analysis. * History of working in volatile markets. * Strong User Capability using a well known ERP and exposure to an advanced planning tool. * Collaborative planning in conjunction with the client and major suppliers. * S&OP expertise, combined with confident presentation skills; a demonstration of which may be required at interview.
