Job Description The role involves heading up their New South Wales business from a customer & channel strategy perspective as well and managing a team of sales reps / account managers. Their channels to market include distribution through key retail partners as well as selling direct to architect's, project specifiers and developers and you will be the key point of contact for the biggest spending accounts. The key responsibilities include; - Delivering the Revenue and Profit Objectives for NSW
- Driving best practice and strong performance across the account portfolio in all channels
- Performance management, training and development of the staff through leading by example
- Creating a rewarding & collaborative team culture for employees to work within.
- Stock management, Demand Planning and forecasting
The Successful Applicant The ideal candidates needs with a proven track record of success in a sales management role within a similar role within the B2B / Ceramic Tile Industry. You will need expertise managing Retail relationships, and also experience in specifying products architects, designers and project managers. You will need to be a strong leader that inspires and motivates the your sales team through leading by example from a values, work ethic and passion perspective. You will need excellent communication and negotiation skills as you will be leading the negotiation of trading terms, pricing with you customers and suppliers. You will need to have a mixture of new business capability as well a polished customer retention and development skills to strike the correct balance need to be be successful in this position. You will need be hands on with your team helping to mentor, coach and develop their skills. A degree would be an advantage but is not essential for this role.
