Our client is an extremely successful and well established company who specialise in the sales, parts and service support for Construction Machinery Equipment range, though who also incorporate Furukawa and Astra – Iveco Construction, Forestry and Mining Equipment within Victoria and Tasmania. Due to enormous growth, the opportunity for a qualified and highly experienced General Sales Manager (Managing both Victoria and Tasmania) has become available based out in their Dandenong office just south east of Melbourne. You will be Tertiary qualified with a Business Degree in Sales/Marketing or have the equivalent experience in the industry in a General Sales Managerial role. You MUST also have: - Experience and networks in the Construction Industry
- Knowledge of Construction Equipment and application
- Excellent Relationship Building and Interpersonal Skills
- Sound Leadership qualities and skills
- Trouble shooting experience and the ability to work to deadlines
- Proficient with all MS Office Suite products ( Excel, Word and Image Software)
- Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multi-task
- Negotiation skills
Reporting to the Managing Director, your core responsibilities include though are not limited to the following: - Managing of all sales teams within Victoria and Tasmania regions
- Sales Budgets – Forecasting, planning, adjusting, implementing and controlling all sales budgets
- Account Management – Responsible for the Management of Major accounts within the organisation, liaising with top level management within corporations and maintaining and building on new client relationships
- Promotion – All products and equipment (new and used) to be promoted and marketed effectively.
- Increase and maintain market share across all of these products and models
- Developing Individualised Marketing plans for each product and adjusting them to suit the current market and client needs.
- Reporting/Sales Analysis – General and Advanced reporting to assess profit and loss, as well as forecasting and implementation of new processes to ensure productivity and financial agility.
- Management and active participation in trade shows/demonstrations and related events.
