Job Description
Support the software group revenue goals by working with software sales representatives as a cross brand technical pre-sales resource, and a specialist software solution architect. The role should deliver this by developing for clients technical strategies that address their business and IT pains. Those strategies would primarily be based on and would leverage the entire IBM Software portfolio, covering solutions and products that span all the IBM software brands. The strategies should support and complement the software sales process. The territory will include Public sector and Commercial sector clients in WA. Territory alignment will be reviewed and adjusted as required.
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant shall possess the following:
- Strong and broad solutions based exposure, with strong IT knowledge but technical level is not necessarily required but would be useful.
- Tier 1 IT solutions background, with recent and ideally current exposure within a similar level provider in the sector.
- Solid experience of technical selling methodologies and excellent relationship management exposure.
- Strong and demonstrable relationship building ability with Blue Chip clients in WA, ideally with CEO, CIO and COO type relationships a big advantage.
