Job Description - This Business Development role is responsible for winning new Key Accounts within the Aged Care Sector and for the ongoing management of a strategic homecare distributor partner.
- Achieve agreed sales targets, EBITDA and GM by maximizing all opportunities for profitable growth with residential care customers and distributors
- Develop strategic account plans for key Healthcare prospects and engage key internal stakeholders to deliver a successful outcome
- Maintain an external focus and an up to date knowledge and intelligence of the aged care market conditions and be fully informed of any political or corporate changes which could impact our business.
- Apply a visionary approach to the sales process, which will result in the opportunity to sell in premium products and services, without a focus on price
- Demonstrate leadership by engaging key internal personnel who will provide insight and assistance when pitching for new business and who will manage the implementation process and ongoing management of the account once an exclusive contract has been entered into.
- Personally manage the account of one strategic homecare distributor partner, including managing the quarterly business review process AND designing, implementing and monitoring the annual sales strategy.
The Successful Applicant - 5+ years on-road NEW Business Development experience, Healthcare experience, tender management experience, strategic planning experience.
- Knowledge of residential care end customer environment Ability to clearly express thoughts to an audience in a compelling way Ability to formulate and execute business solutions
- The ability to identify high potential accounts, establish clear links between their requirements & our solutions
- Knowledge of Business Development process, objection handling & closing.
- Use of different negotiation strategies Ability to influence different people in groups & teams
- Knowledge of who to keep as customers, by setting strategies & continually re-enforcing solutions
- Ability to adapt style to a broad audience
- Knowledge of channel dynamics, includes legislative changes, history, trends & competitors
- Inspiration to learn from experience & to use that as a basis for future development
