Our client is a market leader in the specialised building/construction industry with over 40 years experience as a market leader. They have branches strategically located all around Australia and further expansion plans for 2010. Currently they are seeking an ?Business Development Manager? for one of their Sydney Territories.
Your role will be to manage an existing port-folio of accounts within a designated territory and to generate new relationships within the target market. You will manage your own time and execute efficient time management strategies to maximise your time on the road, allowing more client visits and new business appointments. You will be provided with the latest reporting technology, allowing you to wirelessly report all activities and gives you access to all e-mail correspondence & client relationship management systems. This will assist management in tracking patterns and trends within industries, thus keeping this market leader far in front of the rest of the market.
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years external sales experience in any of the following industries:
. building/construction products &/or services
. industrial machinery / services
. earthmoving machinery
. capital equipment
. bathroom / plumbing products
. electrical products
. architectural products / services
All candidates must be career focused with some good stability in their employment. You must be highly professional, results focused and have the ability to manage your own business and drive results forward. ALL candidates must be well presented, posses a high degree of verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build relationships VERY quickly.
