Our client is leading global growing software vendor which provides some of the most well known large public and private corporates companies and government departments with the best of breed enterprise Governance, Risk and Compliance software solutions. Due to strategic growth they currently require an experienced Operations/Delivery Manager for a newly created position based in Melbourne
The Operations/Delivery Managers will report to the Asia Pacific CEO and we envisage the role entails the following responsibilities: - Operational management of a small however growing team of IT professionals (7 to 8 people ) including direct management of the implementation and training Consulting team in Melbourne and Sydney and the Support/Service Desk/Application support team.
- Assist the consulting team with the high level responsibilities of delivery and implementation of products for clients ( companies ) in terms of project managing the solutions with a focus on customer service, client satisfaction and quality service delivery.
- Work with the executive management team to assist with internal and external process improvement, employee development and succession planning, recruitment and selection.
- Overall the Operations/Delivery Manager will have complete direct management responsibility for all operations and delivery however will not for the Sales team as the Asia Pacific sales function will still report to and is the responsibility of the CEO.
To be successful in this position, we require the successful candidate to have successfully worked as a people manager in a technology environment in either a Operations Manager, General Manager or Delivery Manager and ideally for a global software company.
You will have managed consulting and support teams and engaged directly with clients for solution implementation.
