This company employs over 300 staff in Australia alone, and they provide implement complete end-to-end ICT solutions such as Information Management, Network Optimisation, Virtualisation and Cloud, Contact Centre Solutions, Data Centres, Unified Communication, Application Delivery, complete managed and professional services and hold an impressive iconic Tier 1 and 2 client base within a mix of verticals.

ROLE
Due to an aggressive, well funded and researched growth plan by the management team, this company is on the hunt for a Major Business Development Manager to spearhead the NSW State Government vertical.

You will have your own specific team of highly skilled sales, technical, marketing research staff and it will be your responsibility to drive new business in targeted State Government accounts and provide end-to-end ICT Solutions.

You will be selling with a 'Top-Down' approach by utilising leads and your own strong network of contacts with CIO's, Executives all the way upto Director General level.

Reporting to the Director of Business Development - you will spend the first 12 months building pipeline and focusing on new business development in this vertical

CANIDATE
To be considered for this role, this company is looking for a Senior ICT sales executive with strong contacts and a min of 8-10 years experience selling ICT Solutions to NSW State Government.

Ideally you will have current contacts with stakeholders and a strong understanding of ICT Procurement process in NSW Government.

You will have an extremely customer centric approach to fit in with the culture of this company.

You will have a successful track record of closing deals from any where from $1million upto $20million+ at Government level.

You will have no problem going up againt Tier 1 competitors - you will have ongoing support from the sales teams, consulting teams, highly skilled technical teams, management teams and have access to shared resources from Tier 1 partners to assist you in your role to be successful.

Crucial to this role is building successful relationships with Stakeholders such as Executives, CIO's, Ministerial Offices, Director Generals so having that existing network of contacts in NSW State Government is definitely a strong advantage.

REWARDS
Salary is definitely negotiable, and will range from $150k-$170K upwards for the base and uncapped commissions with potential of earning $300k+
