This market leading technology and services provider currently requires the skills of a proven Software Engineering Manager with extensive Australian defence sector expertise to take ownership of enterprise-scale C4-aligned software engineering deliverables in a high profile multi-stakeholder engagement.

Managing dedicated software architecture and engineering resources, the software engineering manager will work in alignment with technical engineering, design and architecture groups with the authority to mandate strategic processes and procedures to be utilised in the execution of systems integration and engineering work.

As such, the software engineering manager will be an assured senior professional who possesses a strong understanding of complex project management disciplines within large scale software and systems environments. Extensive and demonstrable background in senior software / systems engineering management roles and demonstrable relationship and negotiation skills in concert with a strong understanding of defence / engineering standards (for example MIL-STD 498, IEC12207, EIA632) will give you the advantage for gaining this key management engagement.
