Overview:
Come and work for a leading provider of online accommodation services. They have been operating since 1996 for more than 48,000 hotels in 123 countries worldwide. You will be part of the growing Sydney team which has about 200 people at present.

Role details:
The User Interface Designer is part of the Product team and is responsible for defining and refining the visual language of client's suite of websites, as well as delivering consistent, user-centred customer experiences. You will need a head for business, an eye for design, a passion for usability, and the desire to constantly improve things through relentless measurement and testing. This will include both the improvement of existing site templates and applications, as well as helping to envisage and deliver new features and functionality. The User Interface Designer has a responsibility to partner with Product Managers in order to identify and solve business problems, and to play a crucial role in the Product team. You will also work closely with our IT team to deliver on project objectives.

Experience required:
Demonstrated interface design ability with several years of experience. Experience working in an Agile development environment. Experience with delivering UX documentation - heuristic reviews, application flows, interaction storyboards, site maps, annotated wireframes, style guides, and UI specifications. Strong knowledge of W3C web standards and accessibility. Strong knowledge of web analytics and comparison testing methodologies. SEO knowledge and the impacts site architecture can have.
