I am seeking an experienced people manager to lead a team of 10 direct reports for a global software vendor. Managing a team of experienced Support Engineers who are responsible for providing 3rd level support to an impressive portfolio of enterprise clients this is a challenging permanent position for a proven leader.

Responsible for meeting the business divisions overall objectives you will be involved in strategic planning, accountable for a budget and recruitment. Developing and implementing policies and procedures you will provide direct supervision to your team and manage their overall performance.

To be considered for this position essential requirements include:

• Relevant degree
• Previous experience in a managerial position
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in managing a budget
• Minimum 7 years experience in technical support
• Ability to perform in a high pressure environment
• Previous experience in recruitment and team performance management
• Proven ability to network within an organisation and establish effective, working relationships
• Ability to motivate, lead and guide a team
