I am seeking an experienced people manager to lead a team of 10 direct reports for a global software vendor. Managing a team of experienced Support Engineers who are responsible for providing 3rd level support to an impressive portfolio of enterprise clients this is a challenging permanent position for a proven leader. Responsible for meeting the business divisions overall objectives you will be involved in strategic planning, accountable for a budget and recruitment. Developing and implementing policies and procedures you will provide direct supervision to your team and manage their overall performance. - Previous experience in a managerial position
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in managing a budget
- Minimum 7 years experience in technical support
- Ability to perform in a high pressure environment
- Previous experience in recruitment and team performance management
- Proven ability to network within an organisation and establish effective, working relationships
- Ability to motivate, lead and guide a team
