Our client is seeking a Solution Architect to provide strategic and operational consulting for the end-to-end Web Application System project! You will be accountable for the development and maintenance of the application architecture as it affects the organisations business function with the scope of applications in the Web based solutions.
Essential Qualifications/Experience
- IT Degree qualified and/or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 7 years IT experience, with at least 4 years has been in design/architecture and development roles (ideally with Web Applications).
- Demonstrated experience in creating solution architectures (end-to-end)
- Experience in leading solution architecture and design efforts on a Web application project
- Very good understanding of the Web application architecture space including Java/J2EE application technologies or .NET
- Experience in architecting/designing within an application framework
- Good understanding of Web application technologies (SOA, Portals, and Application Servers)
- Formal exposure to application architecture mythologies and frameworks, e.g. Zachman framework will be highly regarded
- Ability to communicate and engage well with stakeholders at all level and be able to present technical solutions in a business context.
- Excellent documentation and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and customer focused on delivery.
- Positive Proactive Can-do-attitude
