Business Architect (P2)

This is an exciting opportunity to analyse and develop a Government Organisation's Strategic Business Architecture from start to finish. The role is a 12 month contract and will be based in the Eastern suburbs of Perth. The position will be rsponsible for providing design leadership in accordance with standard methodologies. You will recommend products and services and work within a highly skilled and experienced team to ensure the proper and efficient revison of the current Business Architecture.

Over the course of a year you will:

• Determine and describe primary business functions so that the may be subject to review.
• Understand and map the Business Architecture
• Utilise the TOGAF 9 whilst developing policy, principles and standards.
• Assess organisational function and priorities for the design of a business architecture work plan.
• Identify and create strategic business goals and develop and maintain the business Architecture respectively.

What experience do you need to be successful?

• Experience in a comparable role
• An in depth understanding of business disciplines, function and the application of technology.
• The capacity to assess the current state of Business Architecture and propose a new model in relation to business strategy.
• Exposure to ITIL, TOGAF9 and Prince 2.
• Stakeholder management skills.

Previous experience working within the Government will be considered an advantage. Candidates must possess excellent English communication skills and have a flexible 'can-do' attitude.
