They have grown swiftly and successfully over the past 10 years through excellence in service provision, now boasting over 1000 staff and 75 sites across the country. They seek a Commercial Manager for WA / Vic (based in WA), with approximately 400 staff across three sites. The role is designed to provide operational and commercial support to the GM across the region. The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand how to drive operational efficiencies and keep a tight rein on costs across the region, and will also be equipped to provide advice and guidance on growth opportunities. They will be highly organised, detail orientated and will understand process and compliance in order to effectively manage leases, supplier contracts and State Government supply contracts amongst others. A commercial focus is required in developing business cases and financial modelling for potential growth into new areas of business. This is a critical role in a growing market. The role is seen as a 2IC role to the GM and the strategy is to grow the business significantly in the next two years. This role will be central to their plans in evaluating growth opportunities and then integrating operations once those growth options are identified. A salary package commensurate with experience will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
