This is an exciting challenge to work on a range of projects in pre and after development stages throughout Australia mainly within the oil and gas arena as well as in the mining and minerals. An opportunity ideal for a Senior / Lead Safety and Risk Engineer who takes a strong interest in minimising risk in the oil and gas industry with various interesting projects in hand at the moment.
Responsibilities of this Senior / Lead Safety and Risk Engineer will include but not limited to; - Updating of QRA.
- HAZOP Studies, development and reporting.
- HAZID Studies.
- Review Risk Assessments of process.
- Total Hazard Control Plan (Safety Case).
- Provide support to the group in risk, safety and environment management.
As this Senior / Lead Safety and Risk Engineer, you are required to have the followings; - Degree qualifications in Chemical Engineering and accredited in Australia.
- Minimum 10 years experience in a relevant field i.e. oil and gas or mining and minerals.
- Strong in Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP).
- Strong in Hazard Identification Studies (HAZID).
- Strong in Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA).
- Demonstrated competency in handling several projects at the same time.
- Strong communication skills.
- Lateral thinking.
- Possess Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship.
- Based in Perth preferred.
