This engineering provider of controls and automation solutions for major utilities provides innovative technology solutions is growing. To ensure integrity of services for their clients in the power transmission & distribution they now require a professional Project Manager to drive successful projects and customer relationships.
You are an experienced Project Manager who has good familiarity with utilities projects, PLC's, SCADA and/or telemetry or industrial IT / or Electrical projects for Power Transmission & Distribution.
This is a challenging and fulfilling role requiring experience facilitating the delivery of challenging projects with a very professional engineering team.
You will be responsible for client relationships and commercial outcomes of projects in the Newcastle & Sydney Region ensuring profitable outcomes to business objectives while working closely with clients, suppliers and with your engineers.
You will be responsible for:
? Project execution - financial & technical
? Project and Engineering resources - deployment & communications
? Project delivery - margins & customer satisfaction
? Project & production scheduling, planning & coordination
? Customer satisfaction & acceptance
? Project function to technical & timeliness
? Financial performance
? OH&S, and QA process compliance
? Team growth & customer satisfaction
Your qualifications experience & attributes:
? Tertiary engineering qualifications with a strong controls SCADA knowledge
? Business and/or Project Management qualifications would be highly regarded
? Operational / people management skills
? Project management of complex projects / IT / Electrical / SCADA
? Managing Project Managers / Engineers / technical staff/ sub-contractors
? Systems engineering & integration
? Familiarity with Australian Standards
? Exceptional communications / delegation ability
? Commercially astute strong negotiations and very good communicator
