We are seeking an Industry Policy Officer to join our clients independent Statutory Authority. This position plays a key role in supporting the manager in prudential standards and education to ensure the statutory authority policies and regulatory arrangements are understood through training. Using your high level communication skills you will be able to effectively contribute to the work of the Industry Policy and Enforcement Section including;
- Research, devise and develop policy to be incorporated into prudential standards
- Able to work with a drafter to ensure that proposed standards comply with the expressed policy
- Assist in the administration of the Councils prudential standards
- Support in the development and delivery of cost recovered training programs
- Assist and design strategies to manage outside threats
Communicate information to council, government stakeholders, consumers and industries
- Represent the statutory body
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
This is a key role assisting in the design and strategies to provide better information to be made available to the Council, government stakeholders and the Council's industry and consumers.
