A competence in transport infrastructure that is the envy of their rivals has recently seen this tier1 contractor awarded one of the largest infrastructure projects currently under completion across Australia; this has lead to an immediate need for two Senior Project Engineers with bulk earthworks experience to join the project team. As a leader within the project team you will be responsible for the day to day management of all site based activities. You will use you inherent construction knowledge to undertake your job requirements including: - Formulating construction methodologies
- Scheduling of works in line with the critical path
- Procurement of materials for the project
- Ensure the organisations OHS policy & EMS are upheld
- Stakeholder communication & relationship management
- Regular reporting on the progress of the project
- Management of a team of engineers and supervisors
- Cost forecasting & budgetary management
Your proven ability in the delivery of major infrastructure projects and your qualification in engineering will stand you in good stead for this role.
