My client based in Sydney is seeking a Finance Administrator. The Finance Administrator is required to provide effective administration support to a Master Data team. The key purpose of the role is to provide support in master data operational activities for the business. The responsibilities of the position include: - Data entry creation and maintenance of MASTER DATA.
- Co-ordinate with the business in Australia with regard to resolution of data related issues and activities in relation to vendor and customer master data creation and maintenance.
- Perform data quality checks on requests for new and existing data for customer and vendor that are submitted by data initiators.
- Conduct data quality audits through system checks and site checks to determine integrity and compliance status of market data to the company standards.
- Suggest/initiate improvement that will make the master data creation and maintenance faster and more efficient.
- Ensure adherence to Data Management Best Practice.
- Document/Maintain the Standard Operating Procedures and the associated KPI's and Service Level objectives.
- Coordinate the data activities by application and data projects initiated by the business.
- Ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Project Lead
