About our Client Our client is a fast-growing property development company based in the city fringe of Sydney CBD. Job Description Due to growth in the team and a forthcoming maternity leave, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced construction development accountant. The position will involve: - Preparation and review of monthly management reporting package for submission to directors
- Review of monthly project results Provide assistance to project staff in preparing monthly project reports as required
- Preparation, review and analysis of monthly profit forecast
- Manage systems and process improvements
- Preparation of budgets including results of reviews by states and senior management
- Involvement in year end accounts, assisting corporate accounting department where necessary
The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will be immediately available or close to. CA or CPA fully qualified, you will have demonstrable experience in a construction project accounting environment, and have worked in a similar position before. Excellent communication and strong system skills will ensure your success in the role. What's on Offer Initial 3 month contract with immediate start moving to permanency thereafter, subject to candidate and company performance.
