About our Client Our client is an international service company to the resource sector, who have existing contracts on some of WA's major projects. Due to continued development and expansion of their client base a requirement has arisen for an additional Commercial Accountant. Job Description Working within the commercial accounts team and reporting to local management, you will be tasked with providing accountancy for large scale contracts and associated operations. Responsibilities will include; - Preparation and completion of month end process
- Review of project financial performance against contract
- Preparation of monthly management reports
- Analysis of P&L
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Completion of contract price changes
- Act as main contact for clients on financial matters
The Successful Applicant You will be either part or recently CPA/CA qualified and possess experience gained within a commercial organisation. Previous project accounting experience combined with exposure to operational stakeholders is also required for this role, along with strong technical and analytical skills. Additionally, good interpersonal and communication skills will be essential to your success in this role. What's on Offer - International organisation
